GCT has developed advanced technology for implementing peer-to-peer and WiFi wireless speakers. The algorithms employed in this technology have be developed to offer optimal audio quality with minimum interference from equipment that competes or generates noise in the 2.4GHz band (eg microwave ovens, cordless phones, etc). Whilst minimizing interference, the algorithms employed also minimize the delay or 'latency' between audio source and wireless speakers - essential for applications such as home theatre where the user is watching for 'lip-sync'.
