Main Duties |
- As 'team leader' for wireless multimedia
products, facilitates and drives
'cross-functional' teams to achieve schedules
and cost targets.
- Co-ordinates and chairs multiple weekly team
meetings to identify, track and address
project issues.
- Utilizing marketing product requirement specs,
drives team to develop multiple
'complete solution' products, ensuring focus
of effort on management prioritized products.
- Creates and maintains good project tracking
documents using MS Project, and summarizes
status/issues/plans for management
on a weekly basis.
- Proactively manages and coordinates activities
targeted to achieve all key milestones,
meeting schedules and budget plans, following
GCT's defined guidelines for product
development flow.

Requirements |
- 3-5 years proven experience in
'complete-solution' program management
with a good working knowledge of all aspects
of 'complete-solution' product development
(including silicon, software and system
development).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
written and oral (in English):ability to track
projects with Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: team player with
proven ability to motivate and direct - ideally
comes across as a couch rather than a boss.
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to track
and prioritize workload/tasks/team.
- Working understanding of product engineering,
semiconductor design, software development and
wireless (ideally including multimedia) systems.
